The BCM53282 RoboSwitch™ Managed 8-Port Fast Ethernet Switch combines all of the functions of a high-speed switch system including packet buffers, PHY transceivers, media access controllers (MACs), address management, port-based rate control, and a nonblocking switch fabric into a single CMOS device.
The BCM53125 7-Port Integrated GbE Energy-Efficient Ethernet™ Switch is the first Broadcom integrated multilayer switch to support the IEEE 802.3az specification for EEE.

Broadcom's BCM53125 7-Port Integrated GbE Energy-Efficient Ethernet™ Switch is the first Broadcom integrated multilayer switch to support the IEEE 802.3az specification for EEE. The BCM53125 is the optimal solution for small and medium business designs that have challenging low-power requirements. It builds upon the industry-leading 65nm RoboSwitch™ architecture, and the BCM53125 can lower the power consumption by an additional 10 percent when compared to the previous generation device.
