Ka-Ro Electronics TX8M Computer-On-Module (COM)

Ka-Ro Electronics TX8M Computer-On-Module (COM) is a TXCOM module based on the NXP Semiconductors i.MX 8M Mini Quad or Nano Dual Multimedia Processors. TXCOM modules are complete computers implemented on a board smaller than a credit card designed to easily integrate into embedded systems.

The integrated i.MX 8M Mini/Nano Processors each include four Arm® Cortex®-A53 cores plus Cortex-M4 based real-time processing domain at 400+MHz. i.MX 8M Mini/Nano core options are optimized for low-power but offer the breadth of processing power necessary for consumer, audio, industrial, machine learning training, and inferencing across a range of cloud providers.

The Ka-Ro Electronics TX8M COM is offered in three variants:

TX8M-1610 features the i.MX 8M Mini Quad Processor, 1GB SDRAM, 4GB Flash, and a MIPI display interface
TX8M-1620 features the i.MX 8M Mini Quad Processor, 2GB SDRAM, 4GB Flash, and an LVDS display interface
TX8M-ND00 features the i.MX 8M Nano Dual Processor, 512MB SDRAM, 4GB Flash, and a MIPI display interface
