Amphenol Microwave/RF Type Connectors and Accessories offer a variety of options, including highly flexible cables, mating styles, and a high number of mating cycles. The InstaBend™ flexible microwave assemblies can be bent closely behind the connector, saving space while simplifying cable routing. The MaxGain® flexible microwave coaxial cables are also extremely flexible with a low minimum bend radius. The SilverLine® test cables are fabricated from rugged, solid PTFE dielectric cable with stainless steel connectors and a proven strain relief system. The SMP and SMPM connectors enable the joining of two RF modules by captivating the connector between two shrouds. This mounting method allows for higher connector density and misalignment, which compensates for tolerance stack-up. SMPS connectors have the same features as SMP and SMPM connectors in an even more compact package. QuarterBack (QB) connectors include quarter-turn bayonet-locking on SMP/SMPM interfaces and are ideal for high-vibration and test applications that require a large number of mating cycles.

The clocked cable assemblies from Amphenol are designed for .047 or .085 cables and come in 6" or 12" lengths. The pre-tinned PCB connectors are manufactured to work with Amphenol's automated de-golding process, which reduces undesirable remnants of gold plating in the solder joint. The VITA 67 backplane and plug-in modules use a retention mechanism that eases installation/removal and floating SMPM coaxial pins to ensure excellent RF performance in any mating condition.

The attenuators are available in a variety of connector configurations, including SMA, SVK/2.92mm, 2.4mm, Blindmate, ZMA, SMB, SMC, SSMA, BNC, TNC, and Type N. The SMP spring-loaded bullets ensure consistent RF response during gang mating from channel to channel and eliminate gaps between bullets and shrouds for maximum RF performance. The two-hole flange adapters come with two screws for fast and easy installation and are available in a variety of configurations.
