pSemi EK4140-01 Evaluation Kit for PE4140

pSemi EK4140-01 Evaluation Kit provides a demonstration and development platform for the PE4140 Ultra-High Linearity UltraCMOS™ Broadband Quad MOSFET Array. The PE4140 offers high dynamic range performance capable of operation beyond 6.0GHz. This quad array operates with differential signals at all ports (RF, LO, IF), allowing mixers to be built that use Local Oscillator (LO) powers from -7dBm to +20dBm. Typical applications for the pSemi PE4140 range from frequency up/down-conversion to phase detection for Cellular/PCS Base Stations, Wireless Broadband Communications, and STB/Cable modems.

The EK4140-01 Evaluation Kit includes a pre-mounted PE4140 in a 3mm x 3mm DFN6 package. Schematics are provided in the Evaluation Kit documentation to configure the PCB as a CTV up-converter and a PCS down-converter. The general schematic of the Evaluation Board allows numerous user-defined applications. The PCB provides several solder footprints to accommodate various surface-mount devices that can be used to optimize performance over specific operating bands.
