Microchip Technology ATWINC3400 SPI+UART to Wi-Fi® and BLUETOOTH® Low Energy (BLE) Module is designed to quickly and easily add wireless connectivity to Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The ATWINC3400 Module is an ideal add-on to existing Microcontroller (MCU) solutions offering Wi-Fi and BLE network capabilities through an SPI-to-Wi-Fi interface. The ATWINC3400 connects to any Microchip PIC® or SAM MCU with minimal resource requirements.The ATWINC3400’s most advanced mode is a single-stream 1 x 1 802.11n mode. The ATWINC3400 features a fully integrated power amplifier, LNA, switch, and power management. The ATWINC3400 also features an on-chip processor and integrated Flash memory for system software with a built-in coexistence mechanism for concurrent Wi-Fi and BLE functionality. The only external clock source needed for the ATWINC3400 is a high-speed crystal or oscillator.
The Microchip Technology ATWINC3400 SPI+UART to Wi-Fi and BLE Module is available with an integrated chip antenna or a micro u.FL connector for an external antenna. Both variants feature a compact 22.43mm x 14.73mm form factor.
