Analog Devices Inc. AD5693 16-bit nanoDAC+®

Analog Devices Inc. AD5693 16-bit nanoDAC+® is a low power, single-channel, 16-bit buffered, voltage output DAC. Guaranteed monotonic by design, AD5693 operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and has a high relative accuracy (INL) of ±2 LSB maximum. The internal power-on reset circuit ensures that the DAC register is written to zero scale at power-up while the internal output buffer is configured in normal mode. AD5693 features a power-down mode that reduces the current consumption of the device to 2μA (maximum) at 5V and provides software selectable output loads. Designers can program the output span to be 0V to VREF or 0V to 2 × VREF. The AD5693 also incorporates an I²C interface and includes an asynchronous RESET pin and a VLOGIC pin, allowing 1.8V compatibility. Available in a 2.00mm × 2.00mm, 8-lead LFCSP package, the AD5693 16-bit nanoDAC+ is well-suited for process controls, data acquisition systems, digital gain & offset adjustment, programmable voltage sources, and optical modules.
