Adafruit Circuit Playground Express Soil Sensor Mini Kit
Adafruit Circuit Playground Express Soil Sensor Mini Kit is designed to measure the soil moisture content. This kit is based on the Circuit Playground Express platform and achieves the measurement using a nail and alligator clip. As the moisture around a nail in the plant pot increases, the Circuit-Playground Express board detects the change and outputs the result as per the design. The Circuit Playground Express platform helps the user to program and run the code in MakeCode, CircuitPython, Arduino, and Code.org CS Discoveries environments.
The board can measure the moisture in the soil, and indicators show if the plant needs watering. The soil sensor mini kit comprises Circuit Playground Express, AAA Alkaline batteries, a 38cm long alligator clip, and an 8cm long stainless steel nail. This kit allows the flora to be hydrated and in good condition.
